Dan, I know that you apperently know a lot about fishing. I am 10 years old and love to watch pro fishing. I also love to fish. When I was watching fishing and somebody caught a 20 pound bass with th lure the sweet beaver, so I got interested. My Question: How do you and other people find out the best way to catch fish?
Goes to show, you are never too young to start fishing! It will be a life long passion that you share with many people in the world. Everyone has what they feel is the best way to catch fish, but here are a few more ideas for you. Just remember that practice will help you get better at fishing, no matter what fish you’re trying to catch. First you should wear colors that will blend in with your surroundings. It will not scare the fish away from you. Pick a time that is right for fishing, even if you listen to fishing reports to see where more people are catching fish. Or, you can just pay attention to the weather too. Live baits are pretty effective when trying to catch fish. Attach them to a gang hook, which is just two small hooks tied together. This will have your live bait secured better and hopefully bring in a bunch of fish. You should attach a swivel to keep the line from getting tangled up. Make sure you attach those bait carefully and securely so you don’t keep losing them, though you will still lose them in the process of fishing as some fish love to nibble at the bait and slowly eat it away. Don’t get discouraged either if you’re not catching a bunch of fish. Patience is in deed a very good thing to have when you go fishing. These tips are just a few things to keep in mind when you go out to fish. Remember, wear clothes that won’t scare fish away. This is really important if you are fishing in a river. Watch the weather and fishing reports to see where the fish are biting. And use that live bait! It will attract more fish.
