Fishing Walleyes in the Ozarks %u2028

Category: Uncategorized

I would like to find some information on the basics of walleye fishing. I have fished for vass crappie catfish for years but I know nothing about walleya. I would love to find somebody that could take me out and teach me the basics at Lake of the Ozarks Missouri. If you know anybody from that area I would love to contact them Jim

Jim, here are a few things that you can find in your neck of the woods as far as fishing walleye goes. And you can find possibly the best spot to find walleye out there in Lake of the Ozarks, in Missouri. You have the perfect spot to be situated to try out some great walleye fishing. Stocking of walleye in the Lake of the Ozarks has been going on for ten years now. With this help and the other walleye that are in the water, this place will have you the best shot at catching walleye there. The season for walleye runs all of the year, starting in January and ending in December. It might seem hard to believe that fishing walleye is a great idea in the winter, but it’s actually the best time to catch walleye. Go out to fish at dawn to dusk; this is the best time and will work in any kind of location. Use bright colors so those walleye will be able to spot the lure through the mud of the water. Look also for places where there are rocks, and those grassy patches in the water. As far as finding someone you can contact, check into the different tours that are taking out onto the lake. Other places to check into are Thomas Hill, Stockton, bull shoals, and Mark Twain. You can see if they have tours or such to take you out on the lake to those spots that a lot of walleye are in.
