Right length for jigging and slip bobber rods

Is there a such a thing as IDEAL length for jigging and slip bobber rods (spinning).

There is not really a correct length for your spinning rod to use for fishing. What is more important is what type of fish you are trying to catch, and the lures that will attract them. One of the more popular fish to catch out there as far as the best taste and texture is walleye. A walleye has nice white meat that isn’t too strong tasting, and will cook up to a healthy meal. When you get ready to go out fishing for walleye, you should have the right bait and use it correctly to attract the fish. Plus you need to go to the right area where walleye are usually at. Walleye love to hide in the deep water, among weed beds that they can hide in and try and catch something to eat. But they love being around rocks too or shoals, and even at times if it’s that time of the year when they spawn they can be found on sand bars that are up higher. Check in your area when the time for them to spawn is. They can also head up to a feeder stream that is less deep too. By reading up on the different locations that are around you, you will find the best spots that walleye can be caught. Now, lures and bait that you use can be several things. Not all of them work, and at times it will be a hit and miss type of day. Jigs are probably the most popular kind of lure to catch a walleye. The shape of the jig that works best in most areas is a ball style jig. It will get caught a lot less often on weeds when you use this type of jig. Put some live minnows on the jig, or leaches are really popular too to use to catch walleye. The colors of lures without food should be bright. A brighter lure will catch the walleye’s attention and lead him to hopefully have him biting it.
