If you are looking for walleye during the daylight hours, you want to look for the places that have the greenest weeds with heavy vegetation around the area. This holds true for rock formations. If the weeds are around green weeds, you will find the walleye lurking.

For the greenest weeds, you will want to look for milfoil and coontails as well as some other green vegetation. The weeds you will look for should be in waters a little deeper since they do feel more secure when in the deeper waters.
